개인정보처리방침

이 개인정보처리방침은 액티브애드스튜디오(ActiveAdStudio, 이하 “회사”)가 개발·배포·운영하는 모든 모바일 애플리케이션, 미니앱, 게임, 웹사이트(이하 통칭 “서비스”)에 공통으로 적용됩니다. Google Play, Apple App Store, 앱인토스(토스 미니앱), 웹 게임 플랫폼 등 배포 채널과 무관하게 적용되며, 이후 새로 출시되는 서비스에도 동일하게 적용됩니다. 개별 서비스에서 이 방침과 다르거나 추가되는 처리가 필요한 경우, 해당 서비스 내에서 별도로 안내하고 동의를 받습니다.

회사는 「개인정보 보호법」 등 대한민국 관련 법령을 준수하며, 이용자의 개인정보를 보호하고 관련한 고충을 신속하게 처리하기 위하여 다음과 같이 개인정보처리방침을 수립·공개합니다.

1. 처리하는 개인정보의 항목

1-1. 이용자가 입력하며 기기에만 저장되는 정보

이용자가 서비스를 이용하는 과정에서 직접 입력하거나 생성하는 정보(예: 표시명·닉네임, 게임 진행 상황 및 기록, 앱 설정값, 서비스 내 재화 잔량, 이용자가 입력한 이름·생년월일 등)는 원칙적으로 이용자 본인의 단말기 내부 저장 영역에만 저장됩니다. 이 정보는 회사의 서버로 전송되지 않으며, 회사는 이 정보를 열람하거나 보관하지 않습니다.

1-2. 인앱 광고를 통해 자동으로 수집·처리되는 정보

회사는 서비스를 무료로 제공하기 위해 인앱 광고(배너형·전면형·보상형 등)를 게재합니다. 광고의 게재·차단·성과 측정 및 부정 클릭 방지를 위하여 제3자 광고 사업자(광고 SDK)가 이용자의 기기로부터 다음 정보를 수집·처리할 수 있습니다.

  • 광고 식별자(Android 광고 ID / Apple IDFA) 또는 이를 대체하는 식별자
  • 기기 정보: 운영체제 및 버전, 기기 모델, 화면 규격, 언어·국가 설정, 네트워크 유형
  • 서비스 이용 및 광고 노출·클릭 기록, 앱 버전, 접속 시각
  • IP 주소 및 이로부터 추정되는 대략적인 위치 정보(국가·도시 수준)

이 정보는 회사가 아니라 각 광고 사업자가 자신의 책임 하에 수집·처리합니다. 회사는 개별 이용자를 식별할 수 있는 형태로 이 정보를 제공받거나 보관하지 않으며, 광고 사업자로부터 집계된 통계(노출 수, 수익 등)만을 확인합니다.

1-3. 문의 과정에서 수집되는 정보

이용자가 이메일로 문의·신고·권리 행사를 요청하는 경우, 답변에 필요한 범위에서 이메일 주소와 문의 내용이 수집됩니다. 이는 이용자가 자발적으로 제공한 경우에 한합니다.

2. 개인정보의 처리 목적

  • 서비스의 제공 및 기능 구현(이용자 설정·진행 상황의 유지 등)
  • 인앱 광고의 게재, 광고 빈도 조절 및 성과 측정
  • 부정한 광고 클릭·리워드 취득 등 어뷰징 방지와 서비스 안정성 확보
  • 이용자 문의에 대한 응대 및 민원 처리
  • 법령상 의무의 이행

회사는 위 목적 이외의 용도로 개인정보를 이용하지 않으며, 이용 목적이 변경되는 경우 사전에 이용자의 동의를 받습니다. 회사는 개인정보를 이용한 자동화된 의사결정이나 프로파일링을 수행하지 않습니다.

3. 개인정보의 보유 및 파기

보유기간이 경과하거나 처리 목적이 달성된 개인정보는 지체 없이 파기합니다. 다만 법령에서 별도의 보존 의무를 정한 경우에는 해당 기간 동안 분리 보관합니다.

4. 개인정보의 제3자 제공 및 처리위탁

회사는 이용자의 개인정보를 제3자에게 판매하거나 대여하지 않습니다. 다만 인앱 광고 게재 및 서비스 운영을 위하여 아래 사업자가 이용자 기기로부터 정보를 직접 수집·처리할 수 있습니다. 실제로 적용되는 사업자는 각 서비스에서 사용하는 광고 SDK 및 미디에이션 구성에 따라 달라집니다.

각 사업자가 수집하는 정보의 구체적 항목과 이용 방식은 해당 사업자의 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다. 회사는 광고 SDK를 도입할 때 아동 대상 서비스 여부, 맞춤형 광고 사용 여부 등 관련 설정이 정확히 적용되도록 관리합니다.

5. 개인정보의 국외 이전

제4항의 광고 사업자 중 다수는 대한민국 밖에 서버를 두고 있어, 광고 게재 과정에서 수집되는 정보(1-2)가 국외로 이전될 수 있습니다.

이용자가 국외 이전을 원하지 않는 경우, 기기 설정에서 광고 식별자를 삭제하거나 맞춤형 광고를 제한할 수 있으며(제7항), 광고가 포함된 서비스의 이용을 중단할 수 있습니다.

6. 정보주체의 권리와 행사 방법

이용자는 언제든지 자신의 개인정보에 대하여 열람·정정·삭제·처리정지를 요구할 수 있습니다.

  • 기기에 저장된 데이터의 삭제: 앱 내 초기화·삭제 기능을 이용하거나, 기기에서 앱을 삭제하면 해당 데이터는 즉시 함께 삭제됩니다. 회사가 별도로 보관하는 사본은 없습니다.
  • 광고 식별자의 삭제·재설정: 아래 제7항의 방법으로 언제든지 가능합니다.
  • 문의 기록의 삭제 및 기타 권리 행사: daniel@activeadstudio.com 으로 요청하시면 본인 확인 후 지체 없이(접수일로부터 10일 이내) 조치하고 결과를 회신합니다.
  • 이용자는 법정대리인을 통하거나 위임을 받은 대리인을 통하여 위 권리를 행사할 수 있습니다.
  • 회사는 권리 행사를 이유로 이용자에게 불이익을 주지 않습니다.

7. 맞춤형 광고의 거부 및 광고 식별자 관리

이용자는 아래 방법으로 광고 식별자에 기반한 맞춤형 광고를 거부하거나 식별자를 초기화할 수 있습니다. 맞춤형 광고를 거부하더라도 광고 자체는 계속 표시될 수 있으나, 이용자의 관심사에 기반하지 않은 광고가 표시됩니다.

  • Android: 설정 > 개인정보 보호(또는 Google) > 광고 > 광고 ID 재설정 또는 삭제
  • iOS / iPadOS: 설정 > 개인정보 보호 및 보안 > 추적 > “앱이 추적을 요청하도록 허용” 해제
  • Google 계정 전반: adssettings.google.com 에서 맞춤 광고 설정 변경
  • 웹 브라우저: 브라우저 설정에서 쿠키 저장을 거부하거나 삭제

8. 개인정보의 안전성 확보 조치

  • 수집 최소화 원칙: 이용자 데이터를 회사 서버로 전송하지 않는 기기 내 저장(on-device) 구조를 기본으로 설계합니다.
  • 전송 구간 암호화: 서비스와 외부 사업자 간 통신에 HTTPS/TLS를 적용합니다.
  • 접근 권한 최소화: 개인정보에 접근할 수 있는 담당자를 최소한으로 지정하고 관리합니다.
  • 수탁자 관리·감독: 광고 사업자 등 제3자에 대해 관련 법령 및 플랫폼 정책 준수 여부를 점검합니다.
  • 앱 권한 최소화: 서비스 제공에 반드시 필요하지 않은 기기 권한(연락처, 정밀 위치, 저장소 등)은 요청하지 않습니다.

9. 아동의 개인정보

회사의 서비스는 아동을 주된 대상으로 하지 않으며, 회사는 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 알면서 수집하지 않습니다. 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보가 법정대리인의 동의 없이 수집된 사실을 인지한 경우, 회사는 지체 없이 해당 정보를 파기합니다. 일부 플랫폼(예: 앱인토스)의 정책에 따라 만 19세 이상에게만 제공되는 서비스가 있으며, 해당 서비스에는 그 연령 기준이 적용됩니다.

보호자께서 자녀의 개인정보가 수집되었다고 판단하시는 경우 daniel@activeadstudio.com 으로 알려주시면 즉시 확인 후 삭제하겠습니다.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications, mini apps, games, and websites (collectively, the “Services”) developed, published, and operated by ActiveAdStudio (액티브애드스튜디오, the “Company”). It applies regardless of distribution channel — including Google Play, the Apple App Store, Apps in Toss, and web game platforms — and applies equally to Services released in the future. Where an individual Service requires processing that differs from or goes beyond this Policy, that Service will provide separate notice and obtain consent in-app.

Summary — the short version

  • The Company does not operate any server that collects or stores your personal data. There is no account registration.
  • Data you enter or generate in a Service (display name, progress, settings, and so on) is stored only on your own device and is never transmitted to the Company.
  • The Services are supported by in-app advertising. In that process, third-party ad providers collect and process information such as advertising identifiers. You can opt out (see Section 7).

The Company complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and other applicable laws, and establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy in order to protect users' personal information and to handle related concerns promptly.

1. Information We Process

1-1. Information you enter that is stored only on your device

Information you enter or generate while using a Service — for example a display name or nickname, game progress and records, app settings, in-app currency balances, or names and dates of birth you choose to enter — is stored solely in the local storage of your own device. This information is not transmitted to the Company's servers, and the Company neither accesses nor retains it.

1-2. Information collected automatically through in-app advertising

The Company provides the Services free of charge and displays in-app advertising (banner, interstitial, and rewarded formats). To serve, frequency-cap, measure, and protect ads against fraud, third-party ad providers (ad SDKs) may collect and process the following information from your device:

  • Advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA) or equivalent identifiers
  • Device information: operating system and version, device model, screen specification, language and country settings, network type
  • Usage and ad impression/click records, app version, and access timestamps
  • IP address and the coarse location inferred from it (country or city level)

This information is collected and processed by each ad provider under its own responsibility, not by the Company. The Company does not receive or retain this information in a form that identifies an individual user; it receives only aggregated statistics such as impression counts and revenue.

1-3. Information collected when you contact us

If you contact us by email with an inquiry, report, or rights request, we collect your email address and the contents of your message to the extent necessary to respond. This applies only where you voluntarily provide such information.

2. Purposes of Processing

  • Providing the Services and their features (retaining your settings and progress, and similar functions)
  • Serving in-app advertising, frequency capping, and measuring ad performance
  • Preventing abuse such as fraudulent ad clicks or reward acquisition, and maintaining service stability
  • Responding to user inquiries and handling complaints
  • Complying with legal obligations

The Company does not use personal information for purposes other than those listed above, and will obtain prior consent if the purpose of use changes. The Company does not carry out automated decision-making or profiling using personal information.

3. Retention and Destruction

Personal information is destroyed without delay once its retention period expires or its processing purpose is achieved. Where a statute imposes a separate retention obligation, the information is stored separately for the required period.

4. Third-Party Sharing and Processing

The Company does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. However, to serve in-app advertising and operate the Services, the providers listed below may collect and process information directly from your device. Which providers actually apply depends on the ad SDK and mediation configuration used by each Service.

The specific data each provider collects and how it uses that data are governed by that provider's privacy policy. When integrating an ad SDK, the Company ensures that relevant settings — such as whether the Service is child-directed and whether personalized advertising is enabled — are configured correctly.

5. International Transfers

Many of the ad providers listed in Section 4 operate servers outside the Republic of Korea. As a result, information collected while serving ads (Section 1-2) may be transferred abroad.

If you do not wish your information to be transferred abroad, you may delete your advertising identifier or limit personalized advertising in your device settings (Section 7), or discontinue use of ad-supported Services.

6. Your Rights and How to Exercise Them

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of the processing of your personal information at any time.

  • Deleting on-device data: use the in-app reset or delete function, or uninstall the app — the data is deleted along with it. The Company holds no separate copy.
  • Deleting or resetting your advertising identifier: available at any time using the methods in Section 7.
  • Deleting inquiry records and exercising other rights: email daniel@activeadstudio.com. After verifying your identity, we will act without delay (within 10 days of receipt) and reply with the outcome.
  • You may exercise these rights through a legal representative or an authorized agent.
  • The Company will not disadvantage you for exercising these rights.

7. Opting Out of Personalized Advertising

You can opt out of advertising-identifier-based personalized advertising or reset your identifier using the methods below. Opting out does not remove ads themselves; you will instead see ads that are not based on your interests.

  • Android: Settings > Privacy (or Google) > Ads > Reset or delete advertising ID
  • iOS / iPadOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking > turn off “Allow Apps to Request to Track”
  • Across your Google Account: change your settings at adssettings.google.com
  • Web browsers: block or delete cookies in your browser settings

8. Security Measures

  • Data minimization: Services are designed on-device by default, so user data is not transmitted to Company servers.
  • Encryption in transit: HTTPS/TLS is applied to communication between the Services and external providers.
  • Minimized access: the number of personnel who can access personal information is kept to a minimum and managed.
  • Oversight of processors: the Company reviews third parties such as ad providers for compliance with applicable law and platform policies.
  • Minimized app permissions: device permissions that are not strictly necessary to provide the Service (contacts, precise location, storage, and the like) are not requested.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are not primarily directed to children, and the Company does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 14 (the threshold under Korean law). If the Company becomes aware that personal information of a child under 14 has been collected without a legal representative's consent, it will destroy that information without delay. Some platforms — Apps in Toss, for example — restrict Services to users aged 19 or older, and that age requirement applies to those Services.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child's personal information has been collected, please contact daniel@activeadstudio.com and we will verify and delete it immediately.
